How do I book a tour?

Simply fill in our contact form or send us a WhatsApp message. We'll confirm availability, discuss your preferences, and send you a booking confirmation with all the details. We recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance, especially during peak season (June–September).

What is included in the price?

All prices include the professional skipper, fuel, navigation costs, life jackets, and bottled water. The Sunset Cruise also includes a welcome Prosecco. Catering, flowers, and additional beverages can be arranged at an extra cost.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, we ask for a 30% deposit at the time of booking to secure your date. The remaining balance is due on the day of the tour. We accept bank transfer and major credit cards.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the tour receive a full refund. Cancellations within 72 hours forfeit the deposit. In the event of bad weather that makes navigation unsafe, we will reschedule at no extra cost or issue a full refund.

Are prices per person or per boat?

All our prices are per boat, not per person. The boat is exclusively yours for the entire duration — you pay one flat rate regardless of how many guests you bring (up to the maximum capacity).

Can we customise the itinerary?

Absolutely — that is the whole point of a private tour. You choose where you want to go, how long you want to stay at each stop, and whether you want to swim, explore on foot, or simply cruise. Your skipper will offer suggestions, but the route is entirely yours.

Can we stop and swim?

Yes. Lake Como is clean and swimmable in summer. Your skipper will take you to the best spots for a swim — away from ferry traffic and with beautiful views. Just let us know in advance so we can plan the timing.

Can we bring food and drinks on board?

Of course. You are welcome to bring your own picnic, wine, or champagne. We can also arrange catering through our trusted local partners — from a simple cheese and charcuterie board to a full private chef experience. Just ask when booking.

Is the tour suitable for children?

Yes. Children are welcome on all our tours. We have life jackets in all sizes and our skippers are experienced with families. We recommend the Private Tour for families with young children, as it allows for the most flexibility.

What languages does the skipper speak?

Our skipper speaks fluent English and Italian. He is happy to share the history and stories of the lake in either language throughout the tour.

Where do we depart from?

We can depart from any lakeside village — Como, Bellagio, Varenna, Menaggio, Tremezzo, and more. Simply let us know your preferred departure point when booking and we will arrange everything.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Lake Como has a mild microclimate and is navigable for most of the year. If conditions are genuinely unsafe (strong winds, storms), we will contact you as early as possible to reschedule or offer a full refund. Light rain is rarely a reason to cancel — the lake is beautiful in all weathers.

What should we wear and bring?

Comfortable, layered clothing is best — it can be cooler on the water even in summer. Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat are essential. If you plan to swim, bring a towel and swimwear. Soft-soled shoes are recommended on board.

How many people can come on board?

Our boats accommodate up to 4 guests per tour. All our experiences are fully private — the boat is exclusively yours for the entire duration.

Do you operate year-round?

Yes. We operate throughout the year, though peak season runs from April to October. Winter tours are particularly atmospheric — the lake is quiet, the light is extraordinary, and the villas take on a different kind of beauty. Contact us for winter availability.

Can you help plan a proposal on the lake?

Yes — this is one of our most requested experiences. We will position the boat at the most romantic spot on the lake, arrange flowers and Champagne, and ensure complete privacy. We can also coordinate with a photographer if you would like the moment captured. Everything is handled with absolute discretion.

Can we have a wedding ceremony on the boat?

While civil ceremonies require a licensed venue on land, we can host wedding celebrations, receptions, and intimate gatherings on the water. Many couples use our boats as part of their wedding day — for photos, for a private celebration after the ceremony, or for a honeymoon cruise.

Can you arrange catering for a special event?

Yes. We work with trusted local caterers and can arrange everything from Prosecco and antipasti to a full private dining experience on the water. Please enquire at least one week in advance for catering requests.
